AppwoRx raises $225,000 in equity for healthcare mobile apps development

AppwoRx LLC, headquartered in Aventura FL, raised $225,000 in equity from 6 investors out of an expected $500,000 offering. No placement agent was used as part of the offering. AppwoRx was founded in August 2009 according to the State of Delaware’s division of corporations. It develops mobile apps for the healthcare professional and currently has two solutions. RxPhoto uses the iPhone, iPad or iPod to combine mobile app with a cloud based HIPAA compliant photography management tool. AppRx is an iPhone solution for physicians to manage their practice on the go.

The company, founded by Ariel Soffer (COB) and Christopher Cabell (CTO), had revenues below $1 million. Sanjay Chandran (CEO) leads it development while its directors include Mehta Navroze and Hans Hickler.
