Sonic wine decanter inventor launched a $625,000 fundraising effort

Dionysus Technology Concepts announced the launch of its $625,000 non-brokered redeemable preferred shares fundraising effort. The offering is expected to close within a year. A previous private placement of $50,000 initiated by the company last month raised $2,100. The offering’s expected net proceeds will amount to $545,000 which excludes $80,000 to be paid toward officers’ salaries.

Dionysus Technology Concepts develops technology and products focused on the wine industry. A sonic decanter was recently launched which, according  to the company, enhances the flavor, mouth-feel and aroma of any wine just like traditional decanters do but in seconds using sonic waves.

The company, headquartered in Spokane WA, was registered this year. The company did not report revenues. The executive team includes Michael Coyne (Founder), Dwight Weigelt and Jerod Edington. The board of directors includes Frederick Best, Karen Gaugh and Joe Harber.
