Smart lesson binder app closes on its $300,000 convertible promissory note offering

Alchemy Learning Project completed a first close of $278,000 on its expected $300,000 non-brokered convertible note private placement. The company placed 93% of the offering with fifteen investors. This is the first known offering initiated by the company on the US private placement market.

The company develops “Alchemy SmartBinder” a free, cloud-based lesson binder that allows teachers to build and deliver digital lessons to capture valuable data on student engagement and mastery.

The company, headquartered in Baltimore MD, was registered in 2012. Alchemy Learning Project elected not to disclose its revenues. The executive team includes Henry Blue and Winthrop Smith.
