Drytunes launches a $50,000 campaign on Kickstarter

drytuneRandom Research had reported back in September 2013 that c-Level Technology raised close to half a million dollar in equity via a private placement. Now the maker of Drytunes is launching a campaign on Kickstarter. The company’s goal is to raise $50,000 in 30 days by offering a limited number of Drytunes speakers for an early adopter price of $299 ($100 off retail). The company already has fourteen backers on the “crowdfunding” website.

Drytunes is a rugged, portable, wireless speaker with internal dry storage that can be controlled by any mp3 device. When closed, the speaker is dust-proof and water-proof so hi-fidelity audio can be enjoyed above or below water. You can have a look at the product and technology behind it on Kickstarter.

The company, headquartered in Mandeville LA, was registered in 2012. The executive team includes Aeron Mckeough  (Inventor/CTO), Michael Applebaum (CEO), Cameron M. Mary (COO), Jonathan Maki (Marketing), and Christopher Bonner (Sales).
