Appcore files $600,000 final close
Appcore disclosed selling $600,000 worth of equity securities as part of a new financing round. The financing which started to sell almost two weeks ago was subscribed in full by nineteen investors. No securities were previously sold under a registration exemption with the SEC, however the company reported having raised $11 million in total in a press release issued in February 2013. The company is backed by Interstate Communications, Omnitel Communications and Broadhorn Capital a venture development firm specializing in early and seed stage technology companies.
The company markets Appcore AMP a cloud automation application designed to simplify cloud environments through a single management and monitoring interface. The software is technology agnostic and scalable.
Jeffrey James Tegethoff (CEO) leads the Des Moines IA based company which was founded in 2008. Revenues on or below $5 million were reported by Appcore. The company has less than 200 employees.
The board of directors includes Adam Mitchell Lewis, Joshua James Hveem, Patrick James McGowan and Sean Patrick Charnock.
