TechStars alumnus Drifty raised $1 million


driftyAccording to information disclosed, Drifty Co. completed a $1 million financing round. The non-brokered private placement was fully subscribed by one investor a week ago. No offering was previously initiated by the company under a registration exemption with the SEC. The company joined the TechStar‘s accelerator stable in early 2013 and tripled revenues in less than a year.

The company is behind the development of “Codiqa” a drag-and-drop develpment tool for JQuery mobile development that simplify building web application for mobiles. The company released ¬†also “Jetstrap” a CSS framework (Twitter Bootstrap) that helps in designing web applications. And finally, the company is alpha testing “iconic” a free and open source that offers a library of mobile-optimized HTML, CSS and Java Script components for building highly interactive applications.

Benjamin Sperry (President and CEO) leads the Madison WI based company which was registered in 2013. Drifty Co. kept its revenues undisclosed.
The executive team includes Max P Lynch.
