localloopWith these new equity securities sold, LocalLoop Global’s $750,000 private placement is, as of the filing date, 70% completed. A total of nine additional backers invested $425,000 in the company’s offering. The prior information, filed almost a year and a half ago, stated one investor had committed $100,000. LocalLoop Global’s offering has $225,000 left up for subscription. The offering is structured as indefinite and will remain open until fully subscribed. Up to now LocalLoop Global had raised an estimated $20,000 in unregistered securities via one financing round.

The company develops a certification program and web-based rating tools for local and small businesses. The company aims at providing an objective rating, fair consumer review monitoring and verification process backed by third party survey to avoid customers relying on fake business reviews. Referly initiates first close of $300,000 on its debt private placement

A first close of $300,000 was initiated by Referly on its fundraising effort started this month. 30% of the $1 million non-brokered debt offering was placed with three investors. The company has a year to raise an additional $700,000 in funding. This is the second time the company is raising money. The prior financing round raised an estimated $1 million in debt. Investors include New Enterprise Associates, Ignition Partners and 500 Startups.

The company designed an online referral application for social networks. The company leverages affiliate linking programs and makes it easy for users to get a small percentage when they drive customers that make purchases to other sites. According to the company’s website, Referly is departing from its core concept following the acquisition of LaunchGram in February this year.

Danielle Morrill (President) leads the San Francisco CA based company which was registered in 2012. Referly elected not to disclose its revenues.

Doctor referral app completes $60,000 financing round

TraveDoc, Inc. successfully closed a $60,000 private placement of equity securities with one investor. This is the first known offering initiated on the US market by the company.

The company offers an online appointment service for travelers in need of reputable medical care in a foreign land, specifically developing countries. According to the United Nations, 64% of travelers experience health problems while abroad. TraveDoc enables users to connect with vetted healthcare providers in a number of specialities online or via mobile phone. Each provider is rigorously screened by medical auditors who live and work in the designated country. In short the company allows international travelers to research, screen, locate, contact, and schedule appointments with health care providers. The service is currently available for Ghana.

TraveDoc, headquartered in Cambridge MA, was founded by Dr. Marcel Muenster (CEO) in November 2012.
